Here we refer to the ideal experience the user will have while playing a title using our design model.

The user experience will be essentially the same no matter what production level or platform is used. If done right, a more ambitious production will multiply the power of the experience, however the essence will remain. A deeper explanation of this can be found in the design model section.

AlterAction's simulations are "alternate realities" that combine the participatory and immersive nature of games with the broad range of emotions of movies and novels. The user as the protagonist lives an adventure through his own eyes that unfolds according to his actions. Establishing personal relationships with exciting characters, facing moral dilemmas, and therefore experiencing consequences and emotions different from those existing in current games.

Whatever choices the user make
s, the story brings excitement. The user faces choices such as helping a friend or betraying him, engaging in conversations to seduce beautiful characters, stealing a kiss, being truthful or lying, loving, forgiving, or taking violent revenge.
User's experience
The experience is also intuitive, easy to play and replayable.
This description highlights the potential of our design model, however, how well this potential is achieved depends on the specific title design and creative execution. Masq is our first title--prototype and it shows this potential, but it was also our first attempt.
